Mind-Bending Japanese Shmup Prismatic Solid Coming to PS4 on September 29

Playism has announced they’re bringing Japanese shoot-em-up Prismatic Solid to the PlayStation 4 next week.

The shmup is developed by one man, Japanese Indie developer YO1 KOMORI (Yoichi Komori), and it will be launching on the PlayStation Network on September 29th, next Tuesday. Featured above, you can view some gameplay of the mind-bending shmup running on PlayStation 4.

The game features some excellent pedigree with its music, however, as veteran composers Shinji Hosoe and Ayako Saso have contributed to the project with unique music. There’s a bunch of varying levels, six different firing modes, and challenging bosses in a game set within an abstract, modern-art styled world.

Prismatic Solid will cost $9.99.
