We’ve gotten some new details for the 2016-announced live-action Monster Hunter movie.

The new scoop comes from Variety, which confirmed Milla Jovovich is now set to star in the Hollywood-produced film.

Paul W.S. Anderson, mostly known as the director on the live-action Resident Evil movies which Jovovich starred in (who’s also her husband), is set to direct and write the film. Jeremy Bolt (also worked on the Resident Evil movies as producer) is producing.

The current plan is to shoot the film in South Africa, mostly around Cape Town – a location that makes sense because there’s quite a lot of hunting being done recently in the area.

Production company Constantin Film is handling the entire thing, while the budget is reportedly around $60 million. Anderson is envisioning the movie as a standalone flick, however knowing Capcom the new spinoff on their IP is naturally planned as a series.
