Midnight Fight Express release date set for August, new gameplay trailer

Midnight Fight Express

Publisher Humble Games and developer Jacob Dzwinel announced a release date for their stylish action brawler game, Midnight Fight Express, at the Summer Game Fest 2022.

Midnight Fight Express launches on August 23, 2022, for Windows PC (via Steam), PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and will be on Xbox Game Pass. A new gameplay trailer was also shared, showing off more of the isometric brawler. A playable demo is also available for download right now.

In Midnight Fight Express, players will take control of “Babyface”, a former gangster who is dragged back into the lifestyle by a mysterious robotic drone. Babyface will have to fight his way from one side of the city to the other and survive against the odds. This reminds me of the movie The Warriors from the late ’70s, which is a good thing.

Here’s the new gameplay trailer for Midnight Fight Express:

Here’s a rundown on the game:

Midnight Fight Express

An unexpected hero emerges on the city’s darkest night.

You’re Babyface, a former member of the criminal underworld lured back into “the life” by a mysterious AI drone. Your mission against impossible odds: Fight your way across the city before sunrise, and prevent a citywide criminal takeover together.

Engage in a brutal and hyper-kinetic brawling ballet, using every environmental tool and street fighting technique at your disposal. Level up your abilities to take down the mounting onslaught of bozos, cronies, and crime lords.
