• Microsoft Reveals Independent Developers @ Xbox Program

    Microsoft has revealed a new self publishing program at Gamescom for indie developers trying to get their games on Xbox One.

    Called Independent Developers @ Xbox, the program would allow developers to self publish, but would still require an approval from Microsoft, at least for now.

    Developers under this program would still have access to achievements, gamerscore, kinect, smartglass and cloud features.

    Microsoft is aiming for the program to eventually become a development solution – leading to anyone being able to make games for the system.
