i was interested until I read it was only for people that have one. Honestly, the XBOne is nothing to be excited about still.

I think most people would rather have had the $150 back in their pocket, seriously I think the the 10-20 games Nintendo gave to its early 3DS adopters is a better apology than this stuff.

It’s not even remotely an apology, they state very clearly it’s to celebrate the console being out for a year…

So in short they dont even want to give the impression that there trying to make it up to their early adopter. Oh well just glad I didn’t buy the console at launch.

I just gotta laugh at the idea of them only giving rentals. Meanwhile, those 20 VC games on the 3DS were all for keeps. Early adopters of the WiiU didn’t have it too bad either (at least compared to MS): a monthly VC title available for a meager 30 yen/cents. I actually got Balloon Fight twice, just ’cause I could and it was so cheap. ^^

Honestly the XBONE wasn’t worth owning until now. To boot you had to pay an extra $150 at launch for that Kinect and a bunch of other stuff that caused quite a backfire.
Thanks to Xbro however I’ve grown attached to those devs and my closest friends are Xbox fans. I might eventually cave and get the Bone.

there’s no need for such hostility.

Nintendo slashed the price not long after launch by $50. I don’t think MS has a reason to apologize for the Xbox One.

Not really, I was happy to pay the price of the console when it was released and that hasn’t changed. Price drops happen.
