Microsoft has announced they’re releasing their Edge browser, previously a Windows 10 exclusive, for iOS and Android devices.

The mobile version of the browser will come with all the features seen in its desktop counterpart like Reading List, Favorites, Reading View, and so on. If you browse with Edge on mobile, you can continue where you left off via your PC.

New features like support for iOS / Android tablets and roaming passwords are planned as well, to make it more competitive with longstanding browsers like Chrome and Firefox.

The desktop browser has been praised for its lean use of system resources, however it still feels like a work in progress as it initially didn’t support things like extensions (it does now).

Microsoft has only confirmed the browser for the United States-English market on iOS and Android, but will expand to other languages after its initial release.
