Microsoft has announced they’re discontinuing the manufacturing of their Kinect motion-sensor camera.

Following the end of its production, the Kinect will no longer be sold once retailers sell through any remaining stock.

To date, Microsoft has noted that Kinect has sold over 35 million devices worldwide, across Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Originally revealed as “Project Natal” back during E3 2009 and fully unveiled the following E3 with its brand name, the camera has mostly been touted with dancing games and the like.
