Microsoft has announced they’ve acquired Obsidian Entertainment.
The Fallout: New Vegas and Pillars of Eternity developer will join Microsoft’s family of wholly owned studios – news was confirmed during their Inside Xbox live conference. Microsoft also acquired inXile Entertainment, another CPRG developer.
Back during this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, Microsoft acquired a bevy of other game developers – Undead Labs, Playground Games, Ninja Theory, and Compulsion Games.
