Square Enix have renamed Mevius Final Fantasy to Mobius Final Fantasy, they revealed in a livestream demo they did this morning. You can watch the gameplay video above, which focuses mostly on the game’s battle mechanics, at the following times:
- 7:28—”First Look”
- ~25:00—previously seen art from the game
- ~29:00—a glimpse at how one of the job outfits have changed over time; it’s less revealing than it once was
- 36:30—they demonstrate the game playing on both smart phone and tablet
During the stream it was revealed that the protagonist’s voice actor is Nobunaga Shimazaki, and heroine Sarah Lotte Cornelia and Moogle Mog will be voiced by Yumi Hara and Misaki Kuno, respectively.
Mobius Final Fantasy is planned for a spring release in Japan on Android and iOS mobile devices.

April 2, 2015 at 2:13 pmTo be honest, that original armor looked awful anyway. I’m a big fan of skimpy armor, even on guys, but that just looked bad, I think. Still, I wonder why they changed it; a few people on the art staff had to have liked it if it made it all the way to the character render, after all.
