Publisher Nintendo and developer MercurySteam have announced Metroid Dread gets a free update adding Dread Mode difficulty.

While Metroid Dread gets a free update adding Dread Mode difficulty today, another free update is coming sometime in April 2022 adding a Boss Rush mode.


Metroid Dread has been available for Nintendo Switch. Our thorough review for the game found it excellent with minor flaws, but definitely worthy of a look for both fans and newcomers.
