Publisher Success Corporation and developer 24Frame have officially announced Metal Saga: Hangyaku no Rouka for Nintendo Switch and “others.”
Announced during the series’ 30th anniversary livestream (via Games Jouhou), the new RPG in the series is coming to Switch and other platforms, with a PC (via Steam) version being considered as well. Metal Saga: Hangyaku no Rouka was previously titled “Project Wolf.”
Here’s a rundown on the game:
Humanity has become a threat to humanity.
This film is set in a world where the threat of Noah has disappeared. The enemies of humanity are people who are ruled by a multitude of desires.
This film tells the story of the resistance that is trying to fight against this twisted world ruled by desire.
Rusty Garden” is the base of the resistance organization “Heaven’s Wall”.
The main character has no personality, and you can choose between male and female. The player is free to decide whether or not to lend a hand to the resistance.
Changes with this title
Symbol Encounters Implemented
All monsters, including bounty hunters, are now symbolic instead of the random encounters of the previous series. You can enjoy a more realistic and devastated world as they act with their own ecosystem and thoughts in the fields and dungeons. In addition, you can avoid unnecessary battles by avoiding monsters.
Seamless Combat “Live Battle (Tentative)
With the change to symbolic encounters, battles will be conducted seamlessly on the field, creating a battle filled with a sense of realism. The battle is like a seamless transition from the conventional command battle, and the unpopular system of the past has been leveraged and improved.
No need for troublesome operations every time.
The game’s new “Create” feature eliminates the need to repeatedly input commands, making repetitive tasks such as leveling up more comfortable to play. Characters who have “Strategy” turned on will act according to pre-defined action guidelines. In addition, it is possible to switch between them during battle, depending on the situation, such as in a bounty hunt.
It’s not just tanks you can modify! This time, a villa too!
As an extension of the popular “interior design” and “costume” gift system of past titles, this title allows you to have your own “villa” on a small uninhabited island and explore it freely. In addition to interior design, you can build a variety of facilities, line up a car wash in your garage, and even have your favorite characters live in your villa.
