Metal: Hellsinger Launches 2021 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Next Gen Consoles

Funcom have announced the release date for Metal: Hellsinger at IGN’s Summer of Gaming event.

Based on IGN’s coverage, the game is a first-person shooter where you must shoot your way through Hell to the beat of metal music. The game’s music includes vocals from Matt Heafy (Trivium), Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy), Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity), Bjorn Strid (Soilwork), and more.

The game will also be narrated by Troy Baker, as The Unkown (a part-demon, part-human) blasts her way through multiple versions of hell to find and destroy The Red Judge, with each weapon having an ultimate ability.

Directed by David Goldfarb (Payday 2, Battlefield: Bad Company 2) the game features a story mode, and a challenge mode for individual songs’ leaderboard.
