    Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has published a new trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

    Featured above, the new promotional video is titled “A History of Metal Gear and PlayStation,” which promises fans that 28 years of waiting is going to be rewarded, as “Metal Gear’s biggest mystery will come to a full reveal.”


    Finally, a timeline for the series was also revealed, focusing on where Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain happens within the series engrossing timeline.

    Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is launching on September 1st across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The game’s online component, Metal Gear Online, was delayed to launch sometime in October on consoles and next January on PC.
