Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Ships 3 Million Worldwide

We’ve learned (via NeoGAF) that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has shipped 3 million units worldwide.

The milestone was reached in less than a week since the game’s launch this past Tuesday, September 1st, across Playstation 3, Playstation 4, PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

You can expect our review for the game soon – as we secured a retail copy ourselves.

    Look at it this way, it’s the calm before the storm for them, I can’t see them doing any better in their future plans.

    Shipped or sold? They can ship a gorillion copies, but that means nothing if those aren’t actually sold.

    Oh man remember when Capcom Shipped 1.2 Million copies of DmC and tried playing it as a great victory :^) After their initial projections of 4/5 million copies sold.

    Don’t care about the konami drama, the game is amazing. Having Asia’s “Only time will tell” as my helicopter arrival music is the tits.

    Konami better enjoy it while it lasts since no one will be touching a Metal Gear game without Kojima’s name on it.
