Metal Gear Online for PC has officially launched.
The online multiplayer component of Metal Gear V: The Phantom Pain was first launched for Windows PC users earlier this month in a beta format, now Konami has officially opened the game up for a full release.
Konami is celebrating the launch of the client by offering a promotion. If you play at least one match between January 19th and the 26th, you’ll receive 3,000 Gear Points. You can use these points later to customize your character’s gear.
It’s also worth mentioning that it seems like Konami is sticking by their promise to support the game and its online multiplayer, despite series creator Hideo Kojima’s departure from the publisher.
“2016 is shaping up to be an exciting year for MGO, and with your continued support we’ll take it even further!”
