Men of War II Announced for PC, Launches in 2022

Men of War II

1C Entertainment and developer Best Way have announced Men of War II, and shared information about the WW2 military RTS with us.

Men of War II launches 2022 on Windows PC via Steam.

As stated in the press release (via email), the sequel to the top-rated RTS franchise promises more units with different specializations to lead, pinpoint historical accuracy, and new levels of visual and audio excellence. Lead troops on both the Western and Eastern fronts in narrative single-player real-time battles in campaigns and skirmishes, before trying the same online, or teaming up with friends.

Across air and armor, to infantry and support; take on other players or advanced AI in two campaigns- the Allies or the Soviets against the Third Reich. Players can control individual units via Direct Control, along with upgrading and repairing equipment and vehicles.

Battles will feature 45 battalions, and over 300 vehicles across all three factions, all interacting with fully destructible objects and realistic physics. The game will also feature full mod support, so players can create their own scenarios using special level designs. The final game shall support English, German, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, French, Italian, and Japanese; with Czech and Polish TBD.
