Project Lumina has shared a new Melty Blood: Type Lumina Saber trailer, confirming Fate/stay night character Saber (voice by Ayako Kawasumi) is making an appearance in the fighter.

Real name: Artoria Pendragon

A knight with braided blonde hair, shining blue and silver armor, and a somewhat cold attitude.

She is well-known from the legends of King Arthur, wielder of the holy sword Excalibur who founded the Knights of the Round Table.

Somehow, she has appeared in this world without the use of a summoning ritual, she now searches for Souya for answers to this mystery.

Now, at long last, the “MELTY BLOOD” series is making its way to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in 2021 in the form of “MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA”.

Based on the story from “Tsukihime -A piece of blue glass moon-” for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch™, this new game features a cast of over 10 characters with upgraded visuals as well as HD environments befitting a new “Tsukihime” title. The battle system has also been rebuilt from the ground up for a more modern feel.

Fans of the “Tsukihime” series will have the chance to enjoy their favorite special attacks and battles in the form of a 2D character fighting game. The battle system has been rebuilt from the ground up, but still retains that “MELTY BLOOD” spirit.

This new system employs combination attacks that can easily be performed through repeated button pressing, allowing players who may be less familiar with fighting games to enjoy exhilarating battles.

However, the essence of the previous games has been preserved, so long-time fans can still enjoy their favorite parts of the series with an updated system and all-new action. Experience deeper gameplay and more intense battles in this rebirth of a classic.

More than 10 characters from “Tsukihime -A piece of blue glass moon-” are available to choose from. Each character has 10 color variations, so pick your favorite before going into battle!

Each character has their own unique attacks. Make use of them to take down your opponent and claim victory. This new system employs powerful combination attacks known as “Rapid Beats” that can easily be performed by repeatedly pressing the attack button, allowing even players who may less familiar with fighting games to enjoy exhilarating battles.

Enter the single-player story mode to play as your favorite characters as you fight your way through their own unique narratives, all written by the amazing Kinoko Nasu.
