The classic Mega Man Battle Network 6, also known as Rockman EXE 6, will be played at EVO 2023, the famous fighting game tournament.
This is a first for EVO, since the tournament usually hosts more conventional fighting games, like Street Fighter and Tekken.

Tournament Details
Date: August 5 at 2:30pm in BYOC Area
Tournament will be run as a double elimination bracket in MMBNLC Vol.2 Switch version through Local Match. There will be 2 setups available. Players can bring their own Switch and copy of the game to play as well.
Battle Rules:
- Practice
- Triple Battle
- Disable Patch Cards
- You cannot use Giga Chips from the opposite version to the one you are playing (i.e. if you are playing Gregar, you can’t use BassAnly)
- Download chips are allowed
If you plan to participate, please register through start.gg to organize based on the attendance estimate!
Prizes
A $250 prize pool will be paid out if a minimum of 4 players participate in bracket, split as follows:
- Gold – 60%
- Silver – 30%
- Bronze – 10%
*Prizes will be paid as cash on-site or through PayPal after the event.
It’s always great to see an obscure title being given new life through EVO, as it shows that any title is worthy of being played competitively.
