Mega Man 2.5D started as an animated proof of concept, but apparently it was so popular that the guys behind it decided to develop it into a full fledged game. The core concept behind the prototype was having two player co-op in Mega Man 2, while also having the iconic 2D style in a 3D environment.
The game is currently in beta, although it’s already looking really impressive. The video revealed with the new 2.0 version showcases the Snake Man level in co-op play and single player, as well as Shadow Man’s stage being played solo. Seriously, you guys have to see it in action to believe it.
