Sega has shown off some new screenshots and information for some of the main characters and the anti-Valkyria unit in their upcoming PlayStation 4 tactical RPG, Valkyria: Azure Revolution.
The new images and information come from the game’s official website for three of the main characters:
Blum Thomasson
Age: 18
Blum originates from the shopping district of Jutland’s capital, Elsinoa. He’s naturally adept with his own dexterity, and has toyed around with gadgets that use Ragnite. However, he was somewhat forced into taking the aptitude test to join the Vanargand, by his childhood friend Helena.
Helena Andersen
Age: 18
Helena is a pretty girl who previously held a job at the cafe within capital city Elsinoa. She also takes the aptitude test to join the Vanargand, in the hopes of saving her country. She personally hates losing, and she also has lots of ambition. She gets annoyed when finding Blum’s aptitude test score is higher than her own.
Brigitte Ulrich
Age: 27
When the Vanargand was founded, Brigitte also decided to take the aptitude test for her love of justice, and her country. She didn’t obtain that high of a score, however she was allowed to join because the administration saw potential in her. She was raised by teachers, so she is both intelligent and serious.
The Vanargand
Vanargand is an anti-Valkyria unit made to combat the Empire’s Valkyria. These elite soldiers were selected by their affinity for Ragnite, and as such were chosen even if they had no military experience. Each member utilizes Ragnite-powered weapons, and they wield enough magic to even fight tanks.
Valkyria: Azure Revolution is launching sometime this winter in Japan for PlayStation 4.
