This week’s Famitsu (via Hachima and Games Talk) has revealed Medabots: Girls Mission for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan.
As the name implies, the game involves both Medabots and girls, and it’s reportedly an action game that comes in both Kabuto and Kuwagata versions.
There will be over 20 girls that appear as characters, with character designs being handled by Sai Izami. With over 100 Medabots (with customizable parts, too) in the game, the Medabots are being designed by Rin Hahoru. The story revolves around the battle to become the top Medabots owner in a tournament dubbed the Artemis Cup.
Robattles happen via two-versus-two teams, where you press various face buttons to issue attacks for your enemies. There’s also local play for up to four people in team battles, and you can have a friend control another character in the story mode. Online WiFi mode allows for one-on-one battles.
As you make friends with other girls, your friendship levels will increase and your Medabots will become stronger. It’s worth mentioning both versions of the game have different girls, with some being exclusive to each.
Medabots: Girls Mission is set for a release in Japan on March 10th, 2016 for the Nintendo 3DS.
