Piranha Games have announced the MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries – Legend of the Kestrel Lancers DLC expansion is now available, alongside the news their mech combat game is now on PS4 and PS5.

The new MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries – Legend of the Kestrel Lancers DLC expansion allows players to experience the 4th Succession War from the perspective of House Davion’s Kestrel Lancers in a 14 mission linear campaign.

The DLC also adds new biomes, massive new city maps that support large scale combined warfare, new procedurally generated missions and content, over 20 new ‘Mech variants, 7 new questlines, and new Garrisons. You can find a launch trailer for the DLC below.

Legend of the Kestrel Lancers is available on all platforms for $19.99.

This expansion launched alongside a free update to the base game which introduces melee combat, the ability to swap control to an AI Lancemate’s ‘Mech, an updated HUD, and more.
