MechWarrior 5 Mercenaries

Piranha Games have released the Heroes of the Inner Sphere expansion for their mech combat game, MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries.

Heroes of the Inner Sphere expands the campaign with a new Career mode and major re-balances to the overall experience. There are also new missions and quests; including seven Hero Quests that tell the story of important individuals and their lostech mechs, new warzones, new mechs and variants, new weapons, and new blueprints.

The Heroes of the Inner Sphere expansion is available for $19.99 USD.

This new DLC launches alongside the game’s release on GOG, Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, following the expiration of the game’s Epic Games Store exclusivity. These new ports of the game include all the free updates and content that have been released up until now, as well as crossplay support.

You can find the latest launch trailer below.

You can find the rundown (via Steam) below:

A World of Destruction – Level entire cities and decimate armies of enemy forces while piloting hundreds of unique BattleMech variants.

Seek The Truth – Follow a path of interstellar intrigue in a quest for glory and revenge as the leader of a mercenary company reborn in the flames of near destruction.

The Merc Life – Manage the intricacies of running an expanding mercenary company, from the maintenance and acquisition of BattleMechs to the hiring of fellow MechWarriors.

Fight Together – Fight alongside your friends with four-player PvE co-op support.

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is available on Windows PC (via the Epic Games Store, GOG, and Steam), Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. It is also available on Xbox Game Pass. If you missed it, you can find our review here (we recommend it!)
