Amazing Seasun Games has clarified our previous report on Nvidia’s ACE artificial intelligence tech demo confirming the previous video was nothing more than a tech demo, and the game itself will not utilize the tech when it launches.

“The Mecha BREAK team was happy to work with NVIDIA on this tech demo to showcase their ACE technology,” a spokesperson from Seasun Games said. “We need to clarify that the game will have a cast of real human voice-acted characters at launch. Mecha BREAK will still have full DLSS 3 support on day one.”

[ORIGINAL STORY]

Nvidia has announced the first game to be using their new ACE technology, which allows for real time conversations in-game through the use of AI. The first title with this technology will be PvP mech shooter Mecha BREAK.

Nvidia’s ACE was announced back in 2023 where they showed a small demo of someone speaking to an in-game character and getting real time responses. Though it’s taken more than a year, now it seems there’s at least one developer interested in implementing the feature into their game.

A short presentation of the technology in action for the game can be seen below:

Mecha BREAK is in development for Windows PC (via Steam) and sometime later for Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. You can check out our hands-on preview here.
