Matterfall, Housemarque’s Take on Mega Man, is Finally Launching August 15

Looks cool, not a person who preorders digital games.

This game gives me some MN9 vibes, but doesn’t seem to have done the stupid shit that made that game flunk. Could be interesting.

    It looks very visually cluttered.

Looks great. Reminds me of Velocity 2X, but with more particles. Housemarque create good challenging games, so I’m looking forward to this one.

As someone who followed and (regrettably) funded MN9, I really can’t see how it can give remotely similar vibes other than both being 2.5D action titles. This looks much better imo.

Edit: Nevermind that imo too, it’s just looks better and that’s a fact.

How the hell is this a take on Megaman? Seems closer to Metroid or Bionic Commando (something keeps making me think about that game in the trailer).

Based on the first trailer, I thought it was an FPS.
Looks a little to busy imo.

Look cool but I gotta see reviews first.

Okay, you are right, it really doesn’t look like it. I guess I saw the dashing and made the connection somehow.

I think of Strider meets Metroid w/ a hint of Megaman. Looking forward to this which releases in August 15, cant wait. Right now Im enjoying the hell out of Nex Machina.
