An anime adaptation of Mato Seihei no Slave (Chained Soldier) will premiere sometime next year.
The series follows a world that’s under attack from another dimension, gateways called “Mato” allow women with special powers to fight the monsters within the other dimension. Kyouka Uzen, a woman whose power is generally considered weak, has a chance encounter with the young man Yuuki Wakura.
Kyouka’s power “Slave” allows her to enslave the monsters of the other dimension but it’s generally considered a weak and risky power to use their enemies as weapons. However when used on Yuuki, he’s able to transform into a combat-ready form that’s stronger than most monsters. But with the drawback that as a human Yuuki is able to ask a reward from Kyouka and she’s compelled to grant it, what will Yuuki do?

When entrances to a different dimension known as the “Mato” emerge all over Japan, a new resource known as “Peaches” are discovered which give unique abilities only to women. However, dangerous monsters called “Yomotsu Shuuki” also roam throughout the Mato and have been responsible for various disasters ever since. To combat them, the government formed the Anti-demon Corps, an elite group of women who have received power from the Peaches.
One day, a high school student named Yuuki Wakura was walking home from school when he suddenly got lost in a Mato entrance. When he calls for help, he is immediately rescued by Kyouka Uzen, the chief of the Seventh Unit of the Anti-demon Corps. Recognizing his potential while also needing him to make her Peach power more effective, she asks that Yuuki join the Anti-demon Corps by becoming her slave, a position he might find more enjoyable than he initially would have thought…
