This week’s Famitsu (via Hachima) has confirmed that Masahiro Sakurai, the creator of the Kirby and Super Smash Bros. series, is working on his next game.

When interviews by the magazine, he was polled on his resolutions for the new year. His response is a bit of a tease, but it’s noteworthy:

“I want to spend every day like a Sunday, however, this doesn’t mean the next project isn’t started.”

It’s very interesting considering that Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS is still receiving post-launch content updates, but it is good to know both Sakurai and Sora Ltd. have moved on to a new game.
