Marvelous introduces us (via Inside Games) to a new part of PoPoLoCrois Farm Story‘s game world in the form of the frigid Matthew Village.

In order to save Popolocrois and the world at large from the Dark Beast, Prince Pietro travels to Galariland at the urging of the country’s envoy, Marmela, who claims that her country knows how to banish the beast. In the north of that country, the Prince finds a small settlement called Matthew Village, which is perpetually covered in snow.

There he meets Reira (in the pink fur getup below), a girl with a pure soul, who loves to make things; Meylon, the head of the village, who’s unwelcoming and stubborn; and Sasha, who tends the settlement’s crops.

The Dark Beast’s power has made it so that Sasha can’t produce crops anymore. Prince Pietro must track down the Black Beast if he hopes to turn this state of affairs around.

PoPoLoCrois Farm Story will be coming to Japanese 3DSs on June 18.
