Mario Maker is Rebranded to Super Mario Maker, Still Looks Insane

Nintendo has announced a rebranding of sorts – they’re now calling Mario Maker, their do-it-yourself Mario game-maker, to Super Mario Maker.

The game was shown off at their Nintendo World Championships in Los Angeles, where you could see things like this:

Some players are just sadistic. (thanks, Wario64)

A release date for Super Mario Maker on Wii U is still unconfirmed, although it’s currently poised for a September release.

If Nintendo ever got in the dairy business they’d be able to supply half the world’s dairy needs with just one cow.

I hope in the future this game will also incorporate sprites from Super Mario Bros 2 and 3, as well as from Super Mario World and maybe even the All-Starts sprites.
