During the finals of the official national tournament for Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate, series producer Yosuke Hayashi confirmed that the new combatant, Marie Rose, will be coming to Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 this Spring. Unfortunately, Hayashi did not confirm if she would be a free add on, or paid downloadable content.

Hayashi mentioned the version update 1.04 would hit consoles in early February – the update will bring on minor bug fixes and some unconfirmed new features. Marie Rose was not confirmed to be coming at the time of this update, unfortunately.

Yosuke Hayashi did announce a pretty overwhelming piece of information – Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate has been downloaded over 800,000 times on the Playstation Network. Despite the game being free to play at the beginning – if even a tenth of those users bought DLC, that equates to some very interesting numbers.
