Anti-tax anime girl shooter Marfusha tops 200K copies sold

Developer hinyari9 and publisher PLAYISM announced Marfusha: Sentinel Girls has topped 200,000 copies sold.

The new sales milestone includes worldwide sales though surprisingly 73% of sales came from Japan, 9% from China, and 4% from South Korea.

Alongside news of the game’s successful sales figures is news a trading card feature was released for the game’s Steam version.

The anti-tax anime girl shooter has been available on PC (via Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.

Brand New Animated Opening

The console versions of Marfusha feature a brand new animated opening set to its very own theme song, which depicts the world of Marfusha in one, breathtaking package.

The theme song “I’ll be there” has been created specifically for this game by singer-songwriter KOKIA, while the animation was crafted by a team consisting of developer hinyari9, and Chisey and TOHRU MiTSUHASHi, who worked on the viral music videos for the game NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD.
