Manga Gamer Temporarily Halts Sales Due to Fraudulent Credit Card Transactions

Manga Gamer recently posted on their website that they will be halting all sales of their titles via their store until further notice.

The reason they have given has been due to a dramatic increase in purchases using fraudulent or stolen credit cards. The individuals who used the stolen information would take a complimentary Steam code for the game they bought and by the time the victim had their credit card refunded, the Steam keys will have already been taken and sold on a third party website.

Because of this, not only has the selling of games on their website been temporarily halted, but they will no longer be providing Steam keys for the foreseeable future.

They’ve assured that if you’ve already purchased a game that was advertised to come with a Steam key that you will still receive said key.

It’s worth mentioning you can still buy their games on Steam.
