Manami Numakura to End Music Career in February 2020

Singer and voice actress Manami Numakura has announced she will be ending her singing career in February 2020.

The news comes via her official blog on November 25th. After announcing the date of her Final Live concert (December 22nd), she explained that this would be her final concert. However, Natalie marks her final live performance as February 16th. The post continued, saying she came to this decision herself, and offering her deepest thanks to those who helped her through her career.

Manami also stated she would continue her voice acting work. She is best known for her roles as Yurika Toudou (Aikatsu!), Kohaku (Dr. Stone), Siggy (Made in Abyss), Narberal Gamma (Overlord),  Saya Endou (Dagashi Kashi), Aoi Sakurai (Rail Wars!), Retoree (Show by Rock!!), and Hibiki Ganaha (The iDOLM@STER franchise). She will also voice Beelzebub in the upcoming Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max ni Nattemashita (I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level).

Making her debut back in November 2016 with the single Shout, she went on to make 4 singles and 2 albums. She will also release a complete album of her best work entitled Minna de! (containing a new song of the same name, 33 other songs, and a Blu-ray with 7 music videos) will release February 12th.
