Youtuber Ben Heck recently published an episode in which he did the impossible – he created a gigantic Game Boy.

Featured above, the team took original Game Boy hardware and hooked it up to an FPGA board which powers a large VGA screen, complete with a larger-than-life Game Boy casing with a pushable directional pad and face buttons.

The effect is quite remarkable, it really displays games that look just like they did on the original Game Boy screen – only much, much larger.
