• Makoto Shinkai to Announce New Project on December 15

    Anime director Makoto Shinkai will be holding a press conference in December related to his yet unannounced upcoming project.

    Makoto Shinkai is a director, animator, and author largely known for his works Your Name, 5 Centimeters per Second, and Weathering With You among others. His films have largely been released in English by anime licensor GKIDS.

    The press conference containing information about Shinkai’s latest film will be available on YouTube on December 15th at 11pm JST. For fans in North America that would be 9am EST.

    English subtitles will be added to the press conference shortly after it airs.
