It seems despite the Playstation 4 coming out on top with total worldwide sales, Microsoft’s Xbox One has ranked number one in sales for North America. In a reddit post citing that very same bit of news, Microsoft’s Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hryb chimed in with his thoughts:

“Both new platforms are off to a great start. We all should be celebrating a healthy vibrant industry. Sony has done a good job and they should be commended. The hate that infects gaming in the online space needs to go away.”

That was a pretty awesome thing for Hryb to have said. He even went a bit further to lay out his expectations for both the Sony and Xbox camp, in terms of sales and the options for consumers:

“Sony will sell a ton. We will sell a ton. The industry is doing well…and consumers have choice.”

I gotta hand it to him, he’s definitely helping Microsoft’s new message, and their new platform for Xbox One.
