Masaya Games have revealed two new characters that are coming to their 3DS-bound Langrisser title, Langrisser Re:Incarnation Tensei.

Maya (voice by Yumi Uchiyama)

Maya is a maid bound to the Rovina family, who takes care of all the needs of Ares, the protagonist. Her elegant appearance, combined with her knowledge and following of world events, makes her as valuable as she educates Ares. She’s also insightful with both the military, and the use of magic, although her source of knowledge is unknown, as is her past.

Ansel (voice by Junji Majima)

The son of a carpenter, Ansel is now closely tied to the Imperial Army, despite originally hailing from the Bright territory. He tends to be easygoing, but once conflict erupts and the war begins, he joins up with a group of vigilantes. He follows textbook military tactics, but he fails to grasp their true meanings and nuances. He usually doesn’t care about his outwardly appearance (even around women), but otherwise tries avoiding making mistakes.

Langrisser Re:Incarnation Tensei is coming to Japan some time this July.
