Before you all get excited about awesome anime chicks playing strip Mahjong or something, let me inform you up front that’s not the case. Mahjong Pretty Girls Battle is particularly of note for a few other reasons, although these reasons are likely to be more niche than potentially anything else we’ve covered on this site (ever).

This game is actually Mahjong. Not Mahjong Solitaire. Mahjong. Riichi Mahjong, to be exact.

While this writer can’t speak about how well the game plays (see the reviews on the Steam page for yourself), it’s exciting to see a Riichi Mahjong game of any kind available outside of Japan.
