Mad Father Remake Launches on November 5

Publisher Playism and developer Sen have announced the release date for their Mad Father remake.

The remake of their survival horror RPG will launch for Windows PC (via Steam) and Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo eShop on November 5th, for $9.99.


If you already own the original Mad Father on Steam, you’ll get the remake as a free update, which supports Japanese, English, and Simplified Chinese language options.

Here’s what’s included in the remake:

  • Graphic changes (character chips, map chips, some stills, etc.)
  • Game Screen Widening
  • Add Event
  • Partial system review and addition
  • Second week element “BLOOD Mode” added (main scenario will change significantly)
  • New Map Added
  • Gamepad support
  • Noise filter function (can be turned off by setting)
  • Doll Maker” was added to the museum.
  • Added menu screen(Mission,HELP,OPTION)
  • Added a function to allocate controller operations.
  • Added voices (Added variations such as my father’s laughing voice)

Additional Episodes

  • Memories of how the blond boy and the Drevis family got together
  • Aya’s mother and the Drevis family’s secrets revealed in Blood mode
  • In Blood mode, you control a new protagonist and follow the trail of the cursed Drevis family.
