Lynked: Banner of the Spark reveals console ports and full release date

Lynked: Banner of the Spark

Newly confirmed publisher Dreamhaven and developer FuzzyBot announced a full release date for Lynked: Banner of the Spark alongside console ports for the game.

Their new cooperative roguelike action / town-building game is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PS5 alongside its PC (via Steam) version when it leaves early access on May 22nd.

Lynked: Banner of the Spark was originally released via early acces back in October of last year and has received a number of updates.

“Since day one, our goal with Lynked was to create a colorful action RPG that blends heartwarming town-building with high-energy action, and player feedback has been instrumental in shaping that vision,” said Max Spielberg, Co-Founder of FuzzyBot and Creative Director of Lynked: Banner of the Spark. “Version 1.0 is the culmination of that journey, bringing new challenges, tools, and surprises for both longtime players and newcomers alike.”

Here’s a rundown on the big 1.0 update for the game, plus a new trailer:

Lynked version 1.0 adds chapters five through nine, taking players through the game’s main storyline and epilogue. Each chapter brings more bots to rescue, ways to upgrade the town, and action-packed missions to embark upon.

Players can look forward to the following new content in version 1.0 on PC and consoles:

  • Five new chapters with forty total missions that progress the main campaign, including a “Banner of the Spark” storyline where players will uncover the fate of the legendary band of bots and earn ten special themed rewards.
  • Introducing a new biome, The VoidSpyre. Take on the Combot’s fortress with 18 VoidSpyre enemies, five new bosses, and procedurally generated maps, so no two missions are the same. Head back to town after the fight and catch VoidSpyre gillibots that have been added to the bot-o-pedia.
  • Craft and collect new weapon mods, skins, and the sludge weapon core to enhance the fighting experience.

Version 1.0 also includes the “Buddy Up!” update. Buddy Up! introduces Chef Brot, a culinary mastermind for bots and organics alike. Players build Chef’s kitchen to craft up to 100 new delicious meals for Unibot residents and boost battle ranks through the power of cooking. Additionally, Buddy Up! lets players… well, buddy up! Choose from over 100 resident Unibots to join you in battle, selecting up to two companions in single-player and one in multiplayer.
