Lupin III: The First premiered this passed weekend on October 18th; and the film currently has a 100% critic rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.
Review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes has separate scoring averages for critics and typical moviegoers. Currently they have listed Lupin III: The First as having a 100% “freshness” rating at the time of publishing. Although only six critic reviews have been accepted by Rotten Tomatoes.
Lupin III: The First is the new 3D animated film that premiered in Japan last year and only reached the west this month. Lupin comes into possession of the mysterious Bressen Diary that holds a powerful secret that Nazi remnants seek to claim for themselves.

It’s worth noting that the “freshness” score only differentiates between good and bad reviews and that despite the 100% rating the film currently has a 6.75 average critic rating.
Lupin III: The First is available in select theaters and as reported previously will release on DVD and Blu-Ray on January 12th
