The anime adaptation of Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer which premiered this summer is set to run for 24 episodes over 2 cour.

Originally announced earlier this year, the series has been long awaited ever since the manga began in 2005. The story centers around a plucky superhuman girl, who enlists a somewhat unassuming boy to become her “knight” and is tasked with supporting her, and her crusade to punch the guy that made a massive hammer appear in the sky, that threatens to smash the world. She wants to smash the world herself first before the hammer does.
