Lost Ark wandering merchant guide – what you should buy

Lost Ark

If you’ve been playing Lost Ark, you’ve undoubtedly found some missing things in your Adventurer’s Tome, so we prepped a Lost Ark wandering merchant guide.

Most likely among the things you’re missing in your adventures is a particular food item sold by one of the game’s many “Wandering Merchants.”

Well don’t waste your time searching at random hours, there’s a method to the madness of these seemingly randomly spawning NPCs.

So each set of zones has their own Wandering Merchant, and these actually have set spawn times. Merchants can run on one of 3 schedules and will stick around for 25 minutes. More than enough time to find them and buy their goodies.

Here’s our guide:

Lost Ark wandering merchant guide

1:30, 4:30, 5:30, 7:30, 8:30, 11:30

  • Lucas in Yudia
  • Morris in East Luterra
  • Mac in Anikka
  • Jeffrey in Shushire
  • Dorella in Feiton

12:30, 2:30, 5:30, 6:30, 8:30, 9:30

  • Malone in West Luterra
  • Burt in East Luterra
  • Oliver in Tortoyk
  • Nox in Arthetine
  • Aricer in Rohendel
  • Rayni in Punika

12:30, 3:30, 4:30, 6:30, 7:30, 10:30

  • Ben in Rethramis
  • Peter in North Vern
  • Laitir in Yorn

When the time comes (and these times work for both AM and PM), the merchant will choose one of it’s predetermined locations and will sit there for 25 minutes before disappearing.

So contrary to the name, the Wandering Merchants don’t wander at all. Don’t waste your time scouring the roads to try and catch them between spawns either.

In addition to items for completing your Adventurer’s Tome, Wandering Merchants often sell cards and combat food. For information on finding the spawn locations of each merchant, I recommend the convenient world map at Papunika.

In related news, we did a report on the rampant censorship and “localization” found only in the western version of Lost Ark – namely female characters being covered up, lots of NPCs given much  darker skin tones for seemingly no reason, and more. Read up on that in our other report here.

Lost Ark was released in the west on February 11th, 2022 on Windows PC (via Steam). The free-to-play online action RPG was originally launched in Asia back in 2018. In case you missed it, you can find our review on the game here.
