Lords of the Fallen 2 is Confirmed

lords of the fallen 12-17-14-1

We’ve learned that CI Games is working on a sequel to Lords of the Fallen.

In a correspondence with Eurogamer, Executive producer Tomasz Gop confirmed the news:

“We’re now working on vision and concepts for Lords 2.”

Due to this being a seemingly preliminary announcement, details like development platforms and a release window have not been confirmed.

Lords of the Fallen released this past October, and it has been likened to Demons Souls and Dark Souls.

Did the first one get all its issues worked out? Like performance problems and crashes.

Some, but overall its just a mediocre game. It’s story is veeeeerrrrrrry weaksauce and it’s pretty much just linear Dark Souls with Darksiders spells awkwardly jammed into it.

Did it really sell that well to garner a sequel? Jesus…

A large reason I haven’t bought Lords of the Fallen yet is because I can’t go a single article without reading the words “Dark Souls” or “Souls-like” or something.

I love the Souls series, but I don’t want to play a game that seems to base its entirety off of a different franchise. I’m just waiting for it to drop in price at this point. I will play it, but the entire situation is off-putting.

Sure. A lot of people like the concept of Dark Souls, but found it too difficult. If Dark Souls aren’t going to provide an ‘easy mode’, then people are going to make Dark-Souls-alikes that are easy mode for them to purchase. :P

That’s fine, but I think a lot of people forgot that game came out and the lukewarm reviews turned most people off…
