Lollipop Chainsaw revival teased by Kadokawa Games

Lollipop Chainsaw

Kadokawa Games is teasing a revival of some kind for Lollipop Chainsaw, a cult classic action game that just had its tenth birthday.

The new teaser comes from Kadokawa Games boss Yoshimi Yasuda, who said “Lollipop Chainsaw will be back at Dragami Games. Please look forward to it!” Dragami Games is a new subsidiary within Kadokawa headed by Yasuda, focused on making more games.

The third-person action game was originally developed by Grasshopper Manufacture with Goichi Suda as director, with Kadokawa as the original publisher and IP holder. It was originally released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, so this could likely be a modern remaster and re-release.

Whatever this new revival turns out to be – we’ll keep you guys posted.
