League of Legends Project L fighting game will be F2P, Illaoi fighter revealed

Publisher Riot Games and developer Radiant Entertainment have shared new details for Project L, their League of Legends-based fighting game spinoff.

The new fighting game will be free-to-play when it launches, news confirmed alongside Kraken Priestess Illaoi being revealed as the next playable fighter.

Here’s the new dev diary for the 2019-announced game:

Project L is set in Runeterra, the universe of League of Legends; and likewise features many of the MOBA’s iconic characters. A release for the game is set for sometime after 2022.
