TV Tokyo have revealed the live-action adaption series of Nobuyuki Fukumoto’s Ten: Tenhō Dōri no Kaidanji (Ten: The Nice Guy On The Path Of Tenhou), will be getting a sequel.
It will premier on TV Tokyo at the end of 2019, with most of the cast reprising their roles.

- Ryosei Tayama as Shūzō Kanamitsu
The staff involved were also the ones involved with the prior series, and the live-action series adaption of Fukumoto’s Gin to Kin manga.
The original Ten: Tenhō Dōri no Kaidanji was released in 1989, seeing Takashi Ten help win back money his friends lose in gambling at Mahjong.
However, Ten is shown to win his matches through cheating. It ended in 2002. It’s spin off Akagi: Yami ni Oritatta Tensai (Akagi: The Genius Who Descended into Darkness) ran from 1991 to 2018.
