Publisher UNIKAT Label and developer Tensori have announced PlayStation ports for POOLS, their liminal spaces exploration game.
POOLS is coming to PlayStation 5 and PS VR2 on November 25th, 2025. A playable demo is now available on the PlayStation Store, though it’s the non-VR version. A full VR demo is coming in the future.
The liminal spaces exploration game has been available for PC (via Steam, GOG, the Epic Games Store, and Itch.io) since 2024.
Here’s a rundown on the game:
POOLS invites players into a world of vast, deserted public swimming spaces and submerged corridors, blending haunting liminal architecture with the soothing and at times unsettling presence of emptiness. Is someone watching you? Are they there with you? Is this perhaps just a dream? You’re never quite sure.
Developed by Tensori, a team of four in Finland, POOLS became an unexpected phenomenon after its debut. It went on to win the “Best Creative Achievement of the Year” at the Finnish Game Awards, earned a 95% “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam, and allowed the developers at Tensori to turn their passion project into a sustainable studio.
PlayStation 5 players will be able to play the original POOLS game and the Chapter 0 expansion, both in flatscreen and on the PS VR2. The PS VR2 mode will also be available for free.
