A lot of people came out to either support or straight lay the hate on the Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn Indiegogo campaign. For those who haven’t been following the game, its legacy, and its new reboot – the original Shaq-Fu was an abomination of a 2D fighter that launched many years ago across the SNES, Sega Genesis, as well as a multitude of other platforms.

Now, the Indiegogo campaign for its spiritual successor is actually successfully funded, raising just over $473,000 dollars of its $450,000 goal. The final stretch seemed to have come in within the final 6-8 hours of the crowdfunding campaign, which is where a good amount of funding tends to come in these types of campaigns.

The game is in development for PC, PlayStation 4, Wii U, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
