Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth locks New Game+ behind paid digital upgrade

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth may just require infinite wealth from its players after they learned the New Game+ would be locked behind a digital upgrade.

Players are required to purchase the “Master Vacation Bundle” which comes as part of the Deluxe and Ultimate editions of the game. These versions cost $15 and $40 extra on top of the base $70 game. The Master Vacation Bundle by itself costs $20.

For single-player games like Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, a New Game+ mode is considered part of the core experience in order to keep players engaged. Games like Elden Ring have normalized having a New Game+ readily available for dedicated players.

Though an added price tag is far from the only problem the game is facing, localization issues and comically miscast voice roles have left some western fans scratching their heads.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth released January 26th for Windows (via Steam and the Microsoft Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5.
